Since August 2025 I have been working as a freelance writer for Italian and international magazines, producing medium- and long-form texts on conservation, the environment, the relationship between humans and nature, society and culture.
I've worked with Oceanographic magazine, Terra magazine, Earth.org and Italy Magazine.

Breath of the Carpathians - Romania, 2026
In August 2026 I've been a field science communicator for the Transylvanian Geochemistry Research Group from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, led by Dr. Artur Ionescu. I followed a scientific expedition with a focus on geochemistry and microbiology in the Eastern Carpathians.

I am producing a short documentary (currently in post-production) filmed during the expedition, co-produced with documentary photographer Francesco Guerra.
I designed and conducted interviews with the researchers and the local voices, and I wrote and published daily social media content from the field throughout the expedition.
Keeping Wings - Linosa, 2025
I carried out fieldwork on Linosa for a personal project in collaboration with documentary photographer Francesco Guerra, on the conservation of Scopoli's shearwaters, which resulted in the following articles:
From Linosa with love: Protecting the Mediterranean's seabirds (Oceanographic, 2026)
Le berte di Linosa: la custodia di una colonia nel Mediterraneo (Terra magazine, 2026)
Together, we are also in the editing phase of a short documentary.

As a collaborator of the science communication agency Zadig Società Benefit srl:
I am working on La ricerca scientifica si racconta, a project funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research and developed with "Gruppo 2003 per la ricerca scientifica". Its aim is to encourage science communication done by researchers. For the project's channel on Scienza in Rete, I will work on articles, video interviews, podcasts, data stories and a public Q&A column, as well as the newsletter and social media.
I am working on an investigation with Istituto Mario Negri into nicotine pouches, supported by the Journalism Science Alliance.
From February to July 2026 I wrote scientific content and articles for Aging Project, a national project of the University of Eastern Piedmont.
