I am a writer and science communicator with a background in chemical engineering. After a Bachelor's degree at the University of Naples Federico II and a Master's degree at Imperial College London, and working as a functional consultant in the IT sector, I chose to devote my career to writing and storytelling, to learning about the natural world and communicating its marvels and mysteries to everyone else.

The topics I'm most passionate about are biodiversity, ecology and the relationship between human beings and nature. I've contributed to several publications, in both Italian and English: my work has appeared in Italy Magazine, Terra Magazine, Oceanographic and Scienza in Rete, and I am a writing contributor for Earth.org. I work with the journalism and publishing agency Zadig Società Benefit on science communication projects and on content production for the magazine Scienza in Rete.

I currently work with Artur Ionescu's team, the Transylvanian Geochemistry Research Group at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, with one scientific expedition in Romania already completed.

My approach combines emotional storytelling, travel and fieldwork. What I look for, when I write, is to make science accessible and engaging and to deepen people's sense of connection with the natural world.
